Leonard Guy Levy (pictured above on the left) was born in Baltimore Maryland on October 4, 1872 to Leonard G Levy and his wife Margaret Louise Miller Levy.  He was the second of five children.   He served in the Maryland National guard before the turn of the century and was discharged from his duties when he moved to Charleston, West Virginia in order to manage his father in law's lumber mill.  He joined the West Virginia National Guard and rose to the rank of Captain.   He died of what was determined to be exposure in February of 1914, leaving behind a wife-Gertrude C. Landon Levy and two children, Leonard G. Levy III and Francis Levy.  He is interred in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Baltimore in the family plot.
