Notes for HATTIE R LYNCH: Hattie appears as living with her grandmother in the 1880 PA census, with no reference to her father, Charles at all. It is the assumption based on research that her mother was the oldest daughter of George and Catherine Noggle, Rachel (the child's name is Hattie R. Lynch) and that the mother died either in childbirth of shortly afterwards. Charles Lynch does not appear in any other records after 1870 so the assumption is that he also passed away when his only child was very young.
