Winstanley - Manifest of the SS Haverford

Thomas and Agnes Winstanley and their three surviving sons immigrated from England to the United States in 1904.  The Manifest shows that they left Liverpool on the SS Haverford on July 27, 1904 and that they arrived in Philadelphia, PA on August 4, 1904.  It also shows that South Shields was their last place of residence in England and that they intended to stay with their friend Robert Barker in Beaverdale.  The manifest also shows that they expected to be there about two weeks and that their friend's mailing address was Box 1, Beaverdale.  At this time, Thomas Arthur was 9, Jeremiah-later known as Jerry was 4 and Charles was 2.  Jeremiah's twin brother, James Henry had died in 1900.

Zeisel - Manifest of SS Rhein

Adolph and Marie Zeisel along with their two year old daughter Marie Caroline arrived from Czechsolvakia on April 16, 1903.  They came into the United States through the Port of Baltimore, having left Brehmen on April 3, 1903.  According ot the Manifest, their plans were to stay with F. Kinzicka and although it is very difficult to read as it shows online, the microfilmed copy of the manifest that I originally xeroxed from microfilm states that this individual was a cousin, although there is no way to determine if they were a cousin of Adolph's or Marie's.  As closely as I can decipher it, the address listed is 515 Baltimore Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland.
